When your brand helps determine the status of your client.

Today I met with an a wonderful marketing agency to discuss what they might be able to do for my brand. I love talking shop with people that light about branding and marketing. It’s so fun for me… so finding someone else that loves it too means that we are like little kids throwing out ideas and giggling over brands we admire or big picture advertising done right. But that’s not the point of this entry. The point is that I realized how much we agreed that how your brand looks will determine the status of your client.

Here’s a perfect example. Last year, I had a fabulous Nurse Practitioner that owns a clinic come to me to set herself apart with fabulous images. We spoke about her wardrobe and brainstormed a few ideas. She brought great wardrobe and I organized some sets while she got her hair and makeup done.

We were going for the expensve boss b!&ch look and I felt like we nailed it. Her client base is more on the high end and she really wanted to set herself apart from the competition and really attract that luxury client that prioritizes their own beauty and has no problem spending on the themselves. She spoke of client events she hosts, and how she loves on and takes care of her them to ensure the get the absolute best service.

Her session came to mind today because she is already doing all the right things to attract the clients but in order to elevate and attract her ideal clients, she knee her online presence had to match her efforts. Fro me it’s about looking at each brand I work with as if it’s getting published on Vogue or Vanity Fair.

What if we all looked at our brand in that way? What if we did this every year to keep it relevant and sexy? I do this for my brand and get so much value from it, think about what it could do for yours. It might be worth the investment.
