I have added most questions clients have asked, to make sure you have NO questions coming into my shoot and know exactly what to expect.
When should I book my session?
Adesso, ahora, immediately! You will never regret booking a photoshoot experience. Don’t wait. Basta.
For Boudoir, don’t wait until you lose weight, or have the right excuse, just do it. For yourself, because you deserve it and the experience will transform you.
For maternity clients, I recommend between 28-33 weeks… when you are showing, yet are still relatively comfortable. For multiples, 26-30 weeks is ideal. While I do not photograph newborns, I love photographing the mother/baby relationship after 6 months, when the personality of the baby is more obvious and we can get some gorgeous expressions.
What is included in my session?
The experience is complete with a styling consultation with Valentina, hair and makeup done by a professional stylist in studio, 3 hours of studio time, wardrobe, light snacks and beverages, and the package you selected that is applied at an ordering appointment where we gush over your images over chocolate and champagne and you select your favorite print products and have the option add wall art, and or upgrade your package.
When/ how will I select favorite images?
After your shoot, we will either schedule your in-person, or remote (for out of towners) reveal appointment for approximately 1-2 weeks later. We love presenting you images in a way that honors the experience and have a great system in order to help you select your very favorites and compare them side by side. Typically, I will present you a selection of 60+ images to pick from for your folio box, album, or wall art. Final selection will need to be placed at the ordering appointment.
Do not worry. I have photographed hundreds of women with a variety of comfort levels and I cater to all. When you come into the studio, we have a 15-minute chat about how you’re feeling and what you brought, and your inspiration board. We have time for 3-4 sets and we can save the last one for the nude one if you feel ready, if not, we can do “implied” nudes, or a white sheet session… sometimes the suggestion is all we need!
What if I’m not ready for a full boudoir?
Mi casa es tu casa. My custom- built, boutique studio in Austin is in the suburb Lakeway, TX. I pride myself on having created a sanctuary I can share with you. Our women-only team will ensure you will receive the ultimate personalized experience so feel like you are on a luxury staycation and pampered in the most down to earth- comfortable environment.
Where will my session take place?
Loose fitting clothing and undergarments to avoid marks on skin. We have plenty of options in the studio for us to play with but if you have a slinky black dress or a flowy light dress you love- bring it! My recommendation is always to stick to solid colors and neutrals but textures are welcome! My style of photography is very neutral and/or black and whites. Anything you love and feel amazing in is good! And if you don’t have anything you love? No problem! We have plenty of garments and fabrics we can play with.
What should I wear?
I would love to be able to you use your images and show others the looks that can be achieved but I would never share anything without consent. After your sales session you will receive a questionnaire with detailed questions where you can specify your comfort level for what you want to show. I will honor that!
Will you use any images on your website/ blog/ social media?
Packages start at $2500, so we have something for every budget. Your session deposit is half of the selected package the final amount is due 2 days before your session date. I find that on average, clients spend $3,000 or more on their portraits because they want them all and love the premium Italian handmade products and wall art we carry.
