Booking a boudoir session can be scary. Clients often have so many questions before their session, so I thought I should write those here and share them with you!
DO YOU SHARE MY IMAGES?
Our #1 priority is that you feel comfortable in our studio and trust us 100%. So, short answer NO. I would love to be able to you use your images and show others the looks that can be achieved but I would never share anything without consent. Everyone’s journey to loving their body is different and you aren’t always ready to share it with the world, and many clients do this for a significant other. Therefore, after your sales session you will receive a questionnaire with detailed questions where you can specify your comfort level for what you want to show. I will honor that!
DO I HAVE TO I HAVEWEAR LINGERIE?
Absolutely not. There are so many things that, as women, we feel sexy and beautiful in that is NOT lingerie. I encourage anything from ripped jeans, a slouchy sweater, a slinky dress, and even sweatpants! If you FEEL good, you will look good ;)
DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?
We offer a few payment options! There is a booking fee to book your shoot and the balance is due 2 weeks before your shoot. If you want to pay in installments, we just schedule out your shoot a few months out and you can pay it off in payments! Let me know if this is something you wish to do.
IS HAIR AND MAKEUP INCLUDED?
I always include hair and makeup. I want you to feel great and relaxed and there’s something about being pampered that all of us love! Having said that, many clients opt for a natural look, at which point I gift you an additional image as a credit.
DO YOU RETOUCH MY IMAGES?
I always do some edits for color balance, exposure, contrast and cropping. Non- permanent skin blemishes/ bruises are cleaned up and some images receive a more artistic perspective to complete the album or wall art. However, we do take on a more natural approach and leave the stretch marks, tattoos, scars, etc that tell your story (unless otherwise specified).
WHERE SHOULD I BUY OUTFITS?
Please don’t feel like you have to shop, but if you are tempted or have something specific in mind… here are some of our favorite places: Wear Commando (for a minimalist body suit that feels like butta!), Eberjay (timeless pieces you will wear again and again), Petticoat Fair, for a local gem with more luxury pieces, and obviously the ones you may already know… Skims, Victoria Secrets, and Nordstrom.
WHAT TYPE OF FINAL PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER?
We have curated our selection to offer you the best quality and looks. The favorite, and most popular product is the Italian Crystal Cover Album which has a stunning privacy box, thick pages and a custom cover. Our Italian Folio Box offers loose, matted prints for clients that want something different and another is the smaller album that is leather bound in a lovely velvet bag. The piece de resistance is the Italian Acrylic Wall Art that clients LOVE to add on to their order and hang in the privacy of their bedroom or bathroom!
I’M SO NERVOUS, WHAT CAN I DO?!
Nerves are part of the experience! I would be worried if you weren’t- plus this will make the WOW moment of seeing your pictures that much more gratifying! Having said that, you are in GREAT hands. I am a seasoned professional and genuinely excited to work with you!
HOW MANY OUTFITS SHOULD I BRING?
We will have time to shoot 3-4 outfits (yes, nude is an “outfit”) so count on bringing at least that, but if you have additional or aren’t sure which you prefer, bring them! Having options is never a bad thing ;)
SHOULD I GET THERE EARLY?
No, need! We have allowed plenty of time for your shoot and will be preparing the studio and giving it the final touches before you arrive. We are always grateful for clients that respect our time, but if you arrive more than 5 mites before your schedule session, please wait in the car and come up as scheduled!
WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED?
We are locate in “old” Lakeway. My custom studio is connected to my home and is therefore the ultimate privet space for us to create! Mi casa es tu casa!
